When creating games, Unity is my preferred game engine and Visual stuido as my IDE. All of my projects are written in C#.
These are the progams I use to create 2D assets for games. Gimp, being essentially the free version of photoshop, offers a wide range of tools for a variety of situations. Where as Aseprite, I use mostly for creating and animating sprites.
For 3D assets, blender is my go to. I usually produce simple low-poly objects, but they're clear and consistent in the worlds they exisit in.
